Today marks the conclusion of a dynamic and inspiring 3-day workshop held from June 9–11, 2025, at the Renewable Energy Department of RP Tumba College. This event launched the first phase of developing a practical, hands-on Practical Teaching Tools Handbook under the GREATER Project, funded by ERASMUS+.
The workshop brought together lecturers, curriculum developers, and subject matter experts with a shared mission: to co-create engaging, hands-on teaching tools that bring practical learning to the forefront of education. These tools are designed to support both students and lecturers in navigating practicals across the entire curriculum.
Over the course of three days, participants engaged in active discussions, design sessions, and collaborative development of prototypes that will shape the structure and content of the upcoming handbook. The focus has been on aligning teaching tools with real-world application as experiments, and curriculum-wide impact.
This marks a significant step toward enhancing experiential learning in higher education, and sets the foundation for the next phases of the GREATER Project at RP Tumba College.
Stay tuned for more updates as we move from ideas to implementation!
